Meet Our Board of Directors

HAROLD UKU

Harold Uku is the Founding Partner of H.O.D LEGAL, a Lagos-based full service law firm. With about a decade experience in active private and in-house corporate legal practice, he is skilled in commercial disputes resolution such as litigation, arbitration and mediation and advises clients on a wide variety of corporate and transactional legal issues.

His practice interests cut across Construction Law, Projects and Infrastructure, Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law, Taxation and Emerging Tech.

He is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch. In his spare time, he enjoys playing chess with family and friends. He is a tech enthusiast, a lover of good music, Hip-Hop aficionado and a Google Local Guide.

DAVID OKOROGBA

David is triply qualified legal counsel licensed to practice law in Nigeria and the provinces of Ontario & Alberta, Canada. He has 10+ years of combined diverse experience in business law, banking & finance, energy, M&A and public sector procurement & contracts. He holds an LLM (Distinction) in International Commercial Law from a UK university.

He commenced his practice in a leading full-service commercial law firm where he advised a number of domestic and international clients on commercial transactions, regulatory services and commercial disputes resolution.

David was a key team member at a global consulting firm where he advised on high-profile projects involving international oil companies, Nigeria’s national oil company and leading indigenous energy firms on many issues especially the legal, commercial, regulatory and fiscal aspects of Nigeria’s Petroleum Industry Act.

He currently works as a Legal Counsel in a Canadian subsidiary of a leading global financial institution.

In his spare time, David enjoys playing chess and football.

OZA ENWONODE

Oza Enwonode is a legal practitioner of nearly a decade of professional practice experience in litigation and corporate practice. He is an alumnus of Delta State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree, and later pursued a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Benin, specializing in corporate and business law. He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2015.

Oza began his career as a general practice litigator, where he gained invaluable litigation experience. He has since transitioned into corporate practice, where he advises and consults to corporate clients involved in various corporate transactions. His expertise including regulatory compliance, tax consulting, and corporate governance advisory.

Oza currently works with a consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, where he heads the legal and corporate services division. Outside of his professional pursuits, Oza spends his leisure in activities that include playing chess and football.
